Chapel Bridge

The Chapel Bridge is the landmark of Lucerne and with 202.90 meters, not only the oldest, but also the second longest old wooden covered bridge in Europe.

In 1993, the Chapel Bridge burnt down almost completely in a fire and was rebuilt in record time. This incident made the Chapel Bridge even more famous than it already was.

The Lion Monument

The Lion Monument is located in the centre of Lucerne and commemorates the Swiss Guardsmen who died in 1792 after the storm on the Tuileries Palace.

The Culture and Congress Center

The Culture and Congress Center (short KKL) was opened in 1998 with a concert by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
